The Coat Closet
Published in Adelaide Literary Magazine, February 2026 Issue
The Coat Closet was originally developed in my Creative Skills Development course and later selected for publication in Adelaide Literary Magazine for February 2026 issue. This publication represents an important milestone in my writing journey and my first literary magazine credit.
The Playful Awakening
Playful Awakening is a tender and playful queer romance created for my Literary Genre I: Comedy and Tragedy course. The story follows Ayla, a young Black lesbian who hides her true feelings behind humor after a painful childhood experience. When she meets the confident and charming Jadin Cardem, Ayla must confront her fear of vulnerability and learn that real love requires honesty. Through laughter, self-discovery, and emotional growth, she begins to embrace her authentic self and open her heart to connection.
Story Bible: Queen Elowyn, The Shattered Queen
A fantasy romance story bible following Queen Elowyn as she struggles between her duty to the kingdom of Hearthstone and her growing feelings for a stable boy. As a powerful sorcerer threatens her kingdom, Elowyn must choose between love and the fate of her people.
